⚖️ User Rights & Ownership Summary

ScreenshotHub is free to install and use. You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all screenshots, graphics, annotations, and mockups you produce. You are licensed to use exported assets for any personal, educational, or commercial projects without royalties, attribution requirements, or watermarks.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the ScreenshotHub Chrome Extension or website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use ScreenshotHub.

2 License Grant & Permitted Use

We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ScreenshotHub for its intended purpose: capturing, annotating, styling, cropping, and sharing screenshots.

Commercial Use Permitted:

You may use ScreenshotHub to produce software documentation, marketing materials, slide decks, client deliverables, website mockups, and social media posts for commercial entities without restriction.

3 User Content & Intellectual Property

You represent and warrant that you own or possess the necessary rights and permissions to capture, edit, and share the visual content you process using ScreenshotHub. ScreenshotHub claims no copyright, intellectual property, or ownership rights over your screenshots.

4 Cloud Sharing & Acceptable Use Policy

When utilizing optional cloud sharing features, you agree NOT to upload, host, or distribute:

  • Content that infringes upon third-party trademarks, copyrights, patents, or trade secrets.
  • Defamatory, obscene, harassing, abusive, or explicitly illegal materials.
  • Malicious code, spyware, or phishing artifacts designed to mislead users or steal credentials.
  • Automated scripts or bot traffic intended to spam or overwhelm our cloud APIs.

We reserve the right to remove any shared screenshot or terminate cloud access without prior notice if content is found in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.

5 Disclaimer of Warranties

ScreenshotHub is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free performance. You assume full responsibility for your use of the tool.

6 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permissible by law, ScreenshotHub and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from data loss, browser crashes, loss of business revenue, or third-party claims.
